More on Ryan Seacrest VS Meghan McCain

A couple days ago I posted my thoughts on the current Ryan Seacrest VS Meghan McCain thing. I'm bringing it up again because I found this video on YouTube from Bill O'Reilly on FOX - I'm not the biggest fan of Bill, but it was all I could find where you could see more about what happened and why I was so flustered about it. Allow me to say again that RYAN SEACREST ROCKS and I think it was great that Obama went on his show!!!! Have a good Sunday!!

Ryan Seacrest VS Meghan McCain

Today on Ryan Seacrest's radio show he was talking about how Meghan McCain was freaking out this week via Twitter and an interview with Jay Leno about President Obama coming on Ryan's radio show this past Tuesday.

Ok I never have been very much into politics, but I have been trying to learn more and keep up with what is going on with the 2012 elections coming up around the corner.  It is going to be a VERY important election and I want to be prepared to vote.

Having said that since I have become more involved I can say I have not been the biggest fan of Obama.  Anyway Meghan McCain pissed me of with this thing.

This is what she said on her Twitter...

"there is something so unbelievably desperate and sad about the president going on Ryan Seacrest -exactly WHO is on his communications staff?"

Then she said...

"No disrespect to Ryan Seacrest but I just don't think The President should be doing an interview with the producer of The Kardahsians"

First of lemme just say that she misspelled "Kardashian"

Anyway then on Jay Leno she said that the President shouldn't be doing "serious interviews" on Ryan Seacrest

OK I would just like to say whether I like Obama or not, whether he is the President of the US or the Pope, he IS a human being.  If he wants to go on Ryan Seacrest and talk about things like his daughters Halloween costumes, Blackberry, and taking his wife out on dates, then he should do it.  There were some "serious" parts of the convo because they talked about getting young people (like me) more involved in politics and voting.  He also encouraged us to stay in school and do what we can to go to university so that we can get more skills and try to get better careers instead of just jobs.

Just because Ryan Seacrest is primarily and entertainment journalist and host doesn't mean he can't do serious interviews.  I personally think it would be great for him to do more interviews with leaders like the president as well as his entertainment things.  It brings more variety and he is very talented.

I think it is great that the president can talk about those things and feel comfortable doing it.  Whether it be Obama or any president.  I personally like to hear a break from all of the political stuff and be reminded that even though he is the president he does have a life.  He is a husband and a father.

Seacrest's show is not a political platform.  There are lots of other radio and television programs that are, and we all know that Obama makes frequent stops on those kinds of shows... OFTEN.

To me President Obama goin on Ryan Seacrest is no different than him goin on shows like The View or Jay Leno.

My question is who is Meghan McCain to say this stuff anyway?!?! She went on Seacrest's show before to promote her children's book and then asked to come back again.  She goes on those kinds of programs all the time too.

This just kinda ticked me off today.

What do you think??  Is Meghan McCain is right??  Should the president be focused only on serious interviews all the time??  Or should he do stuff like Ryan Seacrest and be a little more laid back at times??

Share your thoughts!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!! :D :D
