Ok let me preface this post by saying that no I have not yet heard the new Michael Jackson material or seen the new music video that has surfaced.  I will however share my opinion on this from what I have heard and read about it in the news.

From what I can gather all of the material on this new album "Vision" that is coming out later this month is a collection of previously unreleased and unfinished material from past studio sessions, video shoots etc...  Also they say that some of the material is things Michael was working on for a potential new album before his tragic death last year.

Ok I am gonna briefly share my thoughts on this and end it bc I will do more research and get some more info later.

From what I have seen MJ never wanted this material to be released because of the fact that it was unfinished or because he didn't think it was good enough for the public to hear or see.  I think that out of respect for him and his family that this material should remain unreleased.  If he never wanted it out I think it is very inappropriate to put it out after his death.  

The THIS IS IT film was a perfect way to pay homage to his career and to celebrate his career and life.  I believe that this new release it taking it too far.  He was a music icon and legend so let him rest in peace and let us enjoy the music that we have and came to love MJ for.  

I loved Michael Jackson and his music, but I believe that it is time to move on and let his music live as it is and not bring out things he didn't want.  

Personally I think they should take the songs and have other artists record them in their own styles as a tribute to Michael and release that in honor of him.

Anyway I am done on this for now, but I will bring it back up in the weeks ahead as I research and look more into it.  I will also be listening and watching this new material and sharing my thoughts as well.
